We’ve got FIVE incredible co-hosts My First 5K and More, Running With Attitude, Run Laugh Eat Pie, Runs with Pugs, and me for another Fit Five Friday link-up! This week’s topic is “5 fitness things you’d love to try”. Feel free to write about this or any fitness topic you’d like.
Happy Friday! We are getting closer to the end of the month, which means that we are closer to Spring Break, and that means closer to the end of the school year.
For now I have pretty much everything I need. But there are a few things that I would love to try.
• BOB AND BRAD C2 Pro Massage Gun with Heat and Cold Therapy. Three people have mentioned this in their blog. I have my own massage gun but it doesn’t come with the heat and cold therapy.
• Chirp RPM | Rolling Percussive Massager. I have a love and hate relationship with foam rolling. “This innovative device seamlessly merges the therapeutic power of percussive massage and rolling massage techniques, giving you a blissfully smooth and comfortable massage that targets pain and accelerates your body’s healing process.”
• Perfect Pushup Elite. These will help with pushups. I ended up buying these after I began writing this post but haven’t used them…..yet.
• WRIST BUDDY Yoga Blocks. I don’t do yoga that often but the times that I have, doing so puts strain on my wrist. These blocks conform to the shape of your hand.
• ProsourceFit Acupressure Mat and Pillow Set. It looks terrifying because of the points/needles but it helps with pain reduction, stress, and post-workout recovery.
The topic for next week – Runfessions with Marcia. We hope you’ll link up with us!
We definitely answered this topic differently.
I do recommend that massage gun. I do have a cheaper one and it’s good too.
I love how small that foam roller is. Great to take along on a race cation.
Yes, I noticed that. 🙂
I have come to love my foam roller! Those push up plates look interesting, I wonder if these would help me get my form correct?! I have a massage gun but always forget and then don’t use it!
Do send tips on how to love the foam roller.
THOSE YOGA BLOCKS!
Those are cool!
You can keep the push up plates. I don’t want anything to do with those lol.
If you get the yoga blocks, let me know how you like them. I will let you know about the pushup plates.
Those yoga blocks are fascinating. I honestly can’t decide if they’d lessen the pressure or put more pressure on your wrist! I’d definitely want to try one out before I bought them!
They’re supposed to lessen the pressure.
I like the push up handles – I use those at the gym. I’ve tried the acupressure mat and haven’t been able to stand it for long!
I read that it takes time you get used to the mat.
