Happy Friday!  Fall is here and I am loving it.  I am not looking forward to the cold days of Winter.  With it being October, that means we have less than 3 months till 2025.

Here are my 5 fitness goals to accomplish by the end of the year:

Continue running and walking.  In the beginning of the year, I signed up to run/walk 2,024 miles.  I got off to a late start, then I lost my running mojo, and then once I started running again, I couldn’t catch up.  Oh well, I tried.  I have signed up again for next year and I am crossing my fingers I do not fail.  To date I’ve run/walked 443.23 miles.

• Complete a race.  This year I ran 3 races.  There were a couple DNS this year.  I don’t think I am race ready but how hard can a 5k be?  OK, OK, it is.  I will most likely do a lot of walking.

• Get a massage.  I went to a place where I can get a back adjustment.  This same place offers massages.  I haven’t had one since 2020.

• Relax.  I have been neglecting myself these past few weeks.  I’ve been very stressed with work and have been working more than usual.  Ugh, I hate it when that happens.  However, this extra work helps my classes go smoother.  At least I won’t have to do this much work next year.  At least I hope so.

lotus pose• Stretch.  I am really bad about this.  I’ve been paying for it because everything feels tight.
