• Someone posted this meme on Facebook.  Maybe I am being very sensitive right now but does anyone really think it is funny?  I mean joking about dying from the virus because of what you told your wife?  Maybe I just don’t get it.

• I know I posted about being patient.  I know many businesses are doing the best they can so we can have the things we need/want.  About 2 weeks I ordered some items for my Peloton.  To this day, I haven’t received it.  I mean does it usually take this long?  I have already reached out to the company and have asked them to send the items again via UPS or Fedex. 

 • I ordered a new Koala Clip.  It is simply the best.  This I received 4 days after placing my order.  🙂

• My plan is to move this year.  I am collecting boxes so I can start decluttering and pack up a few things.  What it is with cats and boxes?

•  I love martinis!  I went to the store yesterday to get some groceries.  I also got items to make martinis and 2 bottles of white wine.  Now I don’t know why I “only” got 2 bottles.  🙂  My plan when this is all over is to have a Martini Party.

• Where has Zoom been this whole time?  I am loving it!  For the past couple of weeks I’ve held weekly get togethers with a few of my cousins.  I attended one with a few bloggers and a few days ago held two different ones with friends from high school and from college.

• I use the app Remind to communicate with parents.  The other day I sent the message below to a parent.  I was MORTIFIED when I read it again AFTER I sent it.

 • In that same thread I received a nice message from a parent.  It was the perfect way to end the day.

• This made me laugh!

•  Did you hear about the Berlin Marathon being canceled?

• It is even more weird to go to the laundromat.  Of course there are fewer people there but now you can’t even sit down.  My sister told me that the bathroom door is locked and you can’t use it anymore.  While I do understand the reason behind it (sort of), this setup does bother me. 

• It will be almost a month since our stay at home order in Illinois.  Does it really feel like a month?  To me it doesn’t.  Right now it is supposed to end in two weeks but I am almost positive the Governor will extend it.

 • I ordered a thermometer from Amazon and received it on Tuesday.  However, I didn’t realize it when I placed the order that it gives the temperature in Celsius. I contacted the seller to send it back and below is what I was told.  Would you keep it or send another email to Amazon to get your money back?

If you prefer to get a Fahrenheit value, after you get the result, you can go and search on google the Celsius to Fahrenheit conversion, then enter a Celsius temperature to get the Fahrenheit value.

• I am not a big fan of Cinco de Mayo but this made me laugh.  I wonder how people are going to celebrate it?  🙂

•  So far this week of Remote Learning/Distance Learning is going well.  On Monday I was ready to pull my hair out.  I put in lots of hours getting things ready for the week.  It paid off because the rest of the days went better.  I did have a lot of questions from parents which I expected.  Tomorrow is a PD day for us so it should be interesting.

• Oh how I miss going to Target just to go and browse.  

• It is the weekend all of the time.

 • This made me laugh.  Yep, I’m not going anywhere.

• I’ve been looking at this image so many times and see 19 of the number 3.  Is that the correct answer?

•  On Tuesday I went to school to pick up a few things from my classroom.  It felt weird being there knowing that I won’t go back till maybe this summer.  One of my coworker’s student gave me this.  I brought it home with me because it makes me smile.  Makes me feel good knowing that another student in a different class cares about me.

• Did you know about the 3D feature in Google?  Google a animal and select the view in 3-D feature.  So much fun!

• Yep, I’ve stopped complaining.  At least I can still go outside and run.  I can also go to the grocery story for food.  It could be way worse. 

 • Anyone getting the days mixed up?  On Tuesday I thought it was Thursday.  Not sure why it mattered since it isn’t like I had plans to go anywhere.  🙂  

• I will always thank these workers!  Seriously they are truly amazing individuals providing the many things we need right now.

•  This is cool and looks like so much fun.
