Tuesday Topics: The year 2023 in photos

This is one of my favorite posts to write.  I wrote one in 20202021, and 2022.  I had fun reading those posts again and thinking about how much has changed since 2020.

Let’s recap this year.  

January:

⇒ Chose my word of the year:  Balance.  Next year I will let you know how I did.

February:

⇒ Got Covid.  Spent 5 days at home in bed resting with my cats.

March:

Ran the NYC Half Marathon.

Ran the CARA Lakefront 10 Miler.

⇒ Celebrated my mom’s 80th birthday with a big party.

⇒ Spectated the Chicago Marathon.  It was a fun day!

⇒ Ran 5.1 miles for my 51st birthday.

    That was a solid running year, Zenaida! I love that you did all those races in the first half of the year. It’s not easy to find a balance with a heavy workload. I’m looking forward to reading how you did on your word of the year!

      You are right. I didn’t realize I did all of my races the first half of the year.

    I enjoyed both those books this year too.

    You had a pretty good year. I’ve been a teacher. Not sure I could have fit in running too.

    Nice year! You’re mentioning Balance as your word for ‘23 reminded me it’s time to stink about ‘24. Hard to believe it’s almost here! I hope you enjoy your winter break 🙂

      Yep, I was thinking about that too. I need to get moving on it. There are so many words and hard to narrow it down to one.
